Main Show Gardens
The Chelsea Flower Show is held in London each May. I visit the show every year to see the latest trends, design ideas, and plants.
The Best in Show Garden at the 2026 Chelsea Flower Show designed by Sarah Eberle. It was called, ‘On the Edge’, designed to draw attention to the Campaign for Rural England. The garden is going to an urban area in Sheffield.
Arit Anderson designed this stunning colorful garden to draw attention to Parkinson’s Disease and help garner support. After the show it is going to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The Main Show Avenue included this beautiful garden ‘Bring me Sunshine’ in support of the Eden Project. It is going to Morecombe Bay in the North of England after the show.
The King’s Garden
The King’s Garden designed by Frances Tophill mixed ornamental and edible plants. It celebrates plant diversity and how many jobs there are in plant-based industries.

Carey Design Studio produced this exquisite garden using sustainable materials – Addleshaw Goddard, Flourish in the City – Won Small Garden of the Year.
Catherine MacDonald designed this sunken garden with an elegant canopy for Boodles.
Six Signature Plants from the Chelsea Flower Show 2026
1. Singles roses, that have excellent pollinator appeal, were a prominent feature in several of the show gardens.

2. Foxgloves, Digitalis, had a moment in a variety of colors and heights.
3. Verbascums like ‘Clementine’ were included in several gardens.
4. Peonies – like this dark one, Buckeye Belle, were a hit – especially combined with purply pink Astrantia, and Cow Parsley – as seen on the Boodles exhibit – shown above.
5. White Camassia
Camassia is native to the Pacific Northwest but looked great at the Chelsea Flower Show 2026.
