Manito Park and Botanical Garden in Spokane, Washington State has a lovely set of gardens including this classic garden of bedded out annuals called the Duncan Garden. Other gardens were a lovely Rose Garden, Dahlia trial garden, Japanese Garden and well-stocked perennial gardens. Great place to get some garden inspiration.

Chihuly Garden and Glass near the Space Needle in Seattle. I have wanted to visit for years so it was fun to see it at last. Combining plants and inanimate objects in gardens is something that fascinates me. Always good to see what you like. Great color contrasts with the red tower and varied green textures. Gray skies and silver-gray motor home make the reds and pinks pop. Primary colors and tranquil plant backdrops make Chihuly’s glass creations the true features. In your own garden it is usually more of a partnership. Fun fun
